On Wednesday 28 April, clergy of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne gathered to explore how our local communities of faith might continue to address the missionary call of the Gospel into the future. Speaking at the gathering were Archbishop Peter A Comensoli, Fr Joe Caddy (Vicar General), Teresa Rhynehart (Director of Mission), Gavin Duane (Location IQ) and Fr Gerard Keith (Parish Priest).

This is just the first step of a much longer journey of reimagining our missionary communities. In the coming weeks we will have a gathering with lay parish leaders, where similar information will be presented and discussed. This will then be followed by gatherings within each of the regions of the Archdiocese where local parishes can delve deeper into the conversation.
