- An Introduction: What is a Mission? Explores this Archdiocesan invitation to “Take the Way of the Gospel”. It can be distributed by your parish at Parish Discernment meetings.
- Take the Way of the Gospel Parish Timeline + Checklist (updated): Outlines the journey ahead and when to use the resources listed on this page.
- Parish Discernment Meetings: Suggested outline, PowerPoint slides and notes for communicating the Missions process to the wider parish community.
- Role Description for Parish Coordinators: Outlines the nature and duration of this important role.
- Workshop: “Beginning the Journey”: A workshop that invites parishioners to prayerfully explore Archbishop Comensoli’s Pastoral Letter, “Take the Way of the Gospel”, in small groups. It can be facilitated either in-person or online. This workshop can be used in a variety of settings including parish leadership, parish pastoral councils, school communities, ministry groups, prayer groups and all interested parishioners and diocesan community groups. It comes with PPT slides, a facilitator guide and a participant handout.
- Prayers: “Together We Pray”: This significant time of discernment begins with calling upon the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us. Simple 15-minute prayers have been prepared.
- Using Spiritual Conversations for Parish Discernment: This resource aims to assist you to facilitate spiritual conversations and discernment in your parish community.
