Despite the challenges presented by 2020, Victorian students have continued to learn and teachers have continued to teach. ‘We are coming to the end of what has been an unprecedented school year’, said Jim Miles, Executive Director of Catholic Education Melbourne.

‘This year has challenged us to truly live out our values as Catholic schools.’

To school principals, Jim offered gratitude and affirmation. ‘I believe you have responded magnificently and played a vital role in supporting and guiding our communities while you continued to educate the children and young people in our care in the most trying of circumstances.’

‘We have much to be proud of in 2020, and we can look forward to 2021 with confidence and optimism.’

To mark the completion of the school year, CEM has created the video the Year in Review, which captures some of the highlights of what has been a year like no other.
