We’re looking for a Real Estate Advisor / Transaction Manager to provide expert advice and hands-on support to parishes across the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne (CAM) in managing and optimising their real estate assets.

How You’ll Make an Impact

From leasing and disposals to valuations, subdivisions, and master planning, this role offers a dynamic and purpose-driven property portfolio unlike any other. Other key elements of the role include:

  • Supporting parishes with reliable, professional property advice under the guidance of senior leadership.
  • Advising key stakeholders on a wide range of property matters including acquisitions, disposals, leases, valuations, and planning.
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with Parish Priests and parish representatives.
  • Collaborating with external consultants such as legal, valuation, town planning, and survey professionals.
  • Assisting with property reporting, internal approvals, and governance compliance.
  • Supporting long-term master planning and land use strategies for parish sustainability.

About You

  • You hold qualifications in real estate, property law, conveyancing, valuations, or a related discipline
  • You bring practical expertise in leasing, asset management, and property administration across diverse portfolios
  • You have a solid understanding of property legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act, Retail Leases Act, and Sale of Land Act
  • You’re a strong communicator who builds trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels, from Parish Priests to consultants
  • You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident using Microsoft Office and property management systems
