In my own local community, do I love my neighbour?
Jesus calls us to love God and love our neighbour—the Great Commandment. Matthew Chapter 25 may be considered our ‘playbook’ for following Jesus, who is a model of servant love. Hear from leaders in Catholic social services as they explore what it means to serve with love, mercy and justice at the local level, and how we can collaborate with others. You will also hear from a panel of people in our parishes working at the coalface. Learn about a new practical resource to help you identify who makes up your local parish community, using data from the last census.
This is the fourth session of the Vibrant Parishes Formation Series, a five-part monthly series where international and local speakers explore how we can animate and strengthen the five characteristics of a vibrant parish: worship, evangelisation, formation, fellowship and service.
Open to parish priests, leadership, volunteers and all interested.
