This Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Cathedral is hosting a ‘Salut d’amour’ concert with special guest Jennifer Chou (organ) and Joseph Yu (trombone).

About the performers

Born in Hong Kong, Jennifer Chou graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong majoring in the organ and had her debut as a soloist at the Melbourne Town Hall. Jennifer is a sought-after organist and has performed as a soloist across the country in major town halls and cathedrals. She has also performed as a soloist in Europe, including venues such as Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and Westminster Abbey in London.

Joseph Yu is a popular trombone performer who is currently Head of Brass at Mount Waverley Secondary College and brass tutor at Camberwell Girls Grammer School. Having graduated in music from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he has performed with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Macau Philharmonic Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra.

Jennifer and Joseph have played together for many years, so this hand-crafted and original selection of works is sure to inspire.
