St Patrick's Cathedral is hosting a free Sunday afternoon recital featuring accomplished recitalist and performer, Dion Henman. Dion is a pipe organist, pianist, accompanist, choral conductor and teacher. He has been broadcast nationally on ABC1 television and ABC Classic FM radio, and in Victoria on 3MBS FM.

Dion studied music and performance at the Victorian College of the Arts and Australian Catholic University. His organ teachers have included Dorothy Glover, John O’Donnell and Lindsay O’Neill. Dion has been continuously employed as a church organist since he was 14. For the past 9 years he has been an Organist at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Melbourne, playing for the Cathedral Choir. Dion has also been employed by Geelong Grammar School as an accompanist, chapel organist, assistant choral conductor and organ teacher. He has also worked at Geelong College as choir accompanist in addition to responsibilities as a music tutor, conductor and accompanist for the Geelong Youth Choir.
