The Community of Sant’Egidio is a Christian community born in Rome in 1968 in the spirit of the Second Vatican Council. It is active in over 70 countries, and a community is beginning in Melbourne. Prayer, friendship with the poor and work for peace are the community’s foundations.

Claudio Betti, one of the early founders of the community, will speak about the community and its commencement in Australia, following 10 am Mass. All are welcome.
