The Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne is running a workshop with the eSafety Commissioner’s Outreach Team in preparation for Safer Internet Day. With the onset of COVID-19, the online provision of ministry to children and young people has helped to maintain their connection to their faith community growing with Christ within their parish.

As we begin to imagine a post COVID-19 world, there is an opportunity to consider the ongoing role that technology can play in our ministry with children and young people and the ways in which we can promote safety.

This newly developed webinar will:

  • explore the current technology trends and issues for young people
  • examine the online environment and explore ways to interact with children and young people safely
  • help manage risks and support young people in a youth group environment
  • highlight eSafety resources for youth leaders.

Please join us and be part of this important event.
