An in-person seminar to explore reasons and ways to place the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) at the heart of parish renewal. Clergy, RCIA teams and interested parishioners are warmly invited to attend.

Rev. Dr Elio Capra is a priest of the Salesians of Don Bosco. He is a member of the Department of Systematic Theology and Department of Pastoral and General Studies at Catholic Theological College, lecturing in liturgy and sacramental theology. He is constantly engaged with Catholic education offices and dioceses around Australia and Oceania, and he has held the chair of the Australian Catechumenate Network (now CIAN). His publications include:

  • Called Gifted Sent: The Sacrament of Christian Initiation and the Triduum (2010)
  • Come and See, revised edition (2015)
  • Walk with Me: A Resource for the Christian Initiation of Secondary School Students (2016).

Cost: $25 per person; maximum of $100 per parish for 5 people. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
