Hosted by the Oceania Pastoral Ministry Network, this webinar will explore ways in which communities are bringing God’s mission to life across Oceania. Everyone who seeks continual renewal for 2022 is invited to be part of this webinar and experience some practical examples of what communities are doing and plan to do for a mission-focussed 2022.

The keynote speaker is Brendon Mannyx, Manager, Mission and Outreach for the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. Brendon is married to Claire and they are blessed with six children. Brendon holds degrees in Creative Arts (Theatre), Law and a Master of Arts (Theology and Christian Ministry). He is passionate about working with communities to reimagine missionary discipleship in today’s world. Brendon will talk of his experience of jump starting our communities and share an exciting initiative that the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle are embarking on for a mission focussed 2022!

The Oceania Pastoral Ministry Webinars are a great way to keep connected as Church, offering ways to animate and renew our faith communities. Sophy Morley, Diocesan Coordinator for Liturgy & Pastoral Ministry and the Plenary Council in the Diocese of Sale shares her experience of the webinar: ‘It is a very user-friendly platform for people to access. Participants appreciated the ease of connection made with people from other parishes, dioceses, states and even from other countries to hear and share experiences of community.’
