The Combined Societies of Mary invite you to a special novena and feast honouring Our Lady of Vailankanni. This devotion is known for its powerful spiritual graces, and many have experienced healings through her intercession. Vailankanni, located on the east coast of India, is one of the most visited shrines in the world. More than 1.5 million pilgrims come each year for the novena and feast.
Novena: Saturday 30 August – Sunday 7 September
Nine nights of prayer: each night, starting with adoration at 7pm, saints of the Church will be invited to pray with those gathered. Nine priests from India will celebrate Mass and share their personal experiences of Vailankanni. This year’s novena will include relics of extraordinary saints, including saints from India.
Feast day: Monday 8 September
The celebration will include Holy Mass at 7pm, a procession and special prayers for healing and graces.
