International recipient of many awards, and with a distinguished performing career globally, British organist Colin Andrews will visit St Patrick’s Cathedral to present a virtuosic program spanning the centuries, employing the full resources of the Cathedral organ.

A specialist in the music of Messiaen, Andrews is only one of four organists in the world to have recorded this composer’s complete organ works. His performances of Messiaen have been received with much acclaim:

‘Colin Andrews raised the roof with one of the most virtuosic Messiaen performances I have heard’ (Messiaen Complete Works Marathon, Norway, 2018).

‘Andrews is a master at capturing the grandeur, spaciousness and reverence of Messiaen’s music and he offers new and compelling interpretations’ (Sydney Organ Journal).

This exciting program includes works by Bach, Franck, Howells, Bonnet and, of course, Messiaen.

Tickets: $30 full, $25 concession, free for those aged 15 years and under. Tickets can be purchased in advance, or simply pay by cash or card at the door.
