Join us for the third Melbourne Catholic Professionals (MCP) event for 2024, where Prof Helen Alvaré, international author and Catholic scholar, will join us as guest speaker.
Prof Alvaré is the Robert A Levy Endowed Chair in Law and Liberty at Antonin Scalia Law School, George Mason University. She publishes on matters concerning marriage, parenting, non-marital households, and the First Amendment religion clauses. She cooperates with the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations as a speaker and a delegate to various United Nations conferences concerning women and the family, and writes regularly for news outlets including the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Huffington Post and CNN.com.
MCP creates opportunities for Catholic professional men and women to network and support the life and mission of the Church in Melbourne. Through its program of luncheon events—hosted by Archbishop Peter A Comensoli—MCP draws people together from a range of different industries to share their faith, listen to exceptional speakers and enjoy a delicious meal together.
Admission is free for MCP members, and $192 for non-members. Register today!
