Listening to the wisdom of women: an African perspective

Newman College is delighted to host the next exciting guest speaker in the Helder Camara Lecture series. Dr Nora Nonterah, one of the leading voices in African theological ethics, will speak on 'Listening to the Wisdom of Women: a conversation about discipleship, leadership and synodality from an African lay woman’s perspective.’

Dr Nonterah is a theological and comparative ethicist, specialising in peace-building, inter-religious dialogue, safeguarding of minors, gender, social ethics and faith formation. She was a delegate for the African church in Rome at the latest Synod on Synodality in 2023 and 2024.
