Celebrate the vibrancy of Melbourne’s ethnic communities on this Jubilee of Migrants weekend! On Saturday 4 October, a migrant festival gathering will take place at Loyola College in Watsonia from 9am to 4pm, featuring cultural presentations and talks, prayer, music and good food.

On Sunday 5 October, come to St Patrick’s Cathedral for the annual Mass for All Nations.

As Pope Leo says, ‘Many migrants, refugees and displaced persons are privileged witnesses of hope ... they demonstrate this daily through their resilience and trust in God.’
