Please note the change of time and venue for this event.
The Knights of the Southern Cross warmly invite you to an evening with former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott at their next God and Beer event.
After studying at Oxford University and working as a journalist, Tony Abbott was elected to the Australian House of Representatives in the seat of Warringah, going on to serve as the 28th Prime Minister of Australia from 2013 to 2015. He remains active in public life and continues to contribute to important debates.
Come along to hear his thoughts on a range of current events and topics including:
6.00pm for dinner (sausage sizzle)
7.00pm for the talk
Due to the popularity of this event, the venue has been changed to St Gerard's Parish Hall in Dandenong North to accommodate the larger-than-usual crowd. There are still some seats available. The start time has also been moved forward slightly. Please come at 6pm if you would like to buy some dinner and drinks.
God and Beer is an initiative of the Knights of the Southern Cross to bring together people of all ages from across the southeast suburbs of Melbourne each month. Our aim is to inspire and strengthen Christians by providing ideas and inspiration for renewing the Church by drawing on the truth, beauty and goodness of the Catholic tradition.
