Mercy (ἐλέεω) occurs only three times in the Gospel of Mark: once in the story of the Gerasene demoniac (5:19) and twice in the story of Bartimaeus (10:47,48). This online session investigates what these two episodes can tell us about “mercy” in discipleship and mission.
