Staff of Catholic Theological College (CTC), as well as students and researchers, are invited to attend this online seminar, to be presented by Dr Frances Baker RSM, Senior Lecturer at Catholic Theological College. Dr Baker is a religious of the Sisters of Mercy (RSM) and the Academic Dean of Corpus Christi College.
The focus of this seminar is the theology of Enda McDonagh (1930–2021). Professor of Moral Theology at St Patrick’s College Maynooth from 1958 until his retirement in 1995, McDonagh was described in the Irish Times at the time of his death as a theologian and churchman whose contribution to the intellectual life of Christianity in Ireland was equalled by few in his generation.
