In the May Carmelite Conversations John Day will explore Pope Francis’ encyclical Fratelli Tutti particularly chapters 2 and 5. Chapter 2 is called “A stranger on the road” and is an extended reflection on the parable of the Good Samaritan. Chapter 5 is called “A better kind of politics” and introduces a new kind of politics in which followers of Jesus are invited to engage.
