In the spirit of the Pope’s call for a "wider we", the Catholic Alliance for People Seeking Asylum (CAPSA) will be hosting a public webinar on Tuesday 28 September from 7pm - 8pm.
The event will highlight the expertise of community leaders from Afghanistan in Australia, who will speak to the current situation in Afghanistan and what action the diaspora community is calling for. They will also be joined by Frank Brennan SJ AO, who will speak to the importance of acting together for social justice as a Catholic community.
This webinar forms part of a National Week of Prayer and Action (NWPA), beginning on Sunday 26 September (World Day of Migrants and Refugees) to Friday 1 October. CAPSA is co-convened by JRS Australia and Jesuit Social Services.
