Anthonian Days in the Oceania region will begin in Victoria this year.

Franciscan friar Fr Bortolino Maistrello, from the Pontifical Basilica of St Anthony in Padua, Italy, will be bringing two first-class relics from the saint’s basilica. One relic contains fragments of St Anthony’s skin.

Fr Maistrello will visit various churches in the area of the Archdiocese of Melbourne from Friday 6 June to Sunday 8 June.

The churches Fr Masitrello will be visiting are:

  • St Francis of Assisi Church (Mill Park) on Friday 6 June
    • Mass: 9.15am/10.15am/7.30pm followed by a procession
    • Veneration of relics before and after Mass
  • St Mary McKillop Church (Keilor Downs) on Saturday 7 June
    • 2.30pm: Process from Rosary Home to church for devotions
    • 5pm: Vigil Mass
    • Veneration of relics before and after mass
  • St Patrick's Church (Lilydale) on Sunday 8 June
    • 10am: Rosary
    • 10.30am: Mass
    • Blessing of the break (with relics)
    • Veneration of relics
