‘What does it all mean? Living a contemporary Catholic life of faith, hope and love.’

St John's Catholic Church warmly invites you to their event with special guest Fr Richard Leonard SJ.

Fr Richard is a Jesuit priest with degrees in arts and education, a master’s in theology and a PhD. He directed the Australian Catholic Office for Film and Broadcasting for 22 years, and has lectured globally and authored 13 books. He is currently the parish priest of North Sydney–Lavender Bay–Kirribilli.

Parish missions are a time for us to reflect on where we have been, where we are and where we are going. This mission will focus on the issues that confront us as Christians in the contemporary world and offer practical direction about how a parish can provide greater meaning and interconnectedness, as we develop a spirituality for and passion for this world while we look for the next. We will explore how a parish can be a place for sane faith, a sure hope and a deep love for God.

This two-day event is free and sessions cover faith, hope, love and living a Contemporary Catholic life.
