In 1931, a Polish nun by the name of Faustina Kowalska began experiencing the presence of Jesus in an extraordinary way. Through a series of private revelations, St Faustina became the ‘secretary of God’s mercy’, listening to the Lord’s request that she make known to the world the infinite depths of his mercy. ‘I am Love and Mercy itself,’ Jesus told her.
One of the people transformed by this message of the Divine Mercy was Fr Chris Alar MIC, an American priest and Marian Father who recently toured Australia and New Zealand sharing his conversion story. He made some time to speak with us, sharing some of his experiences and describing how the Divine Mercy changed his life.
