Job Opportunity: Cleaner & Housekeeper – Moonee Ponds Area
Part-Time | 15 hours per week | Permanent Position
The Archdiocese of Melbourne is seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner & Housekeeper to support in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming home environment.
About the Role:
Working 15 hours per week, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the residence. Duties include general housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, dusting), meal preparation, and maintaining a hygienic and comfortable living space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
- Laundry and linen management
- Meal planning, grocery shopping, and preparing light meals (lunch and dinner)
- Maintain outdoor areas and ensure regular cleaning supply levels
- Work independently while being attentive and respectful to the residences’ preferences.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- A heart for service and a respectful, discreet manner
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check (essential)
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain – highly regarded)
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
