Are you ready to align your Catholic faith with your work? Join an effective, spirit-lead team that works collaboratively to provide support to parishes, in their journey of missionary renewal.
About the Opportunity
The Proclaim team is at the service of parish communities within the Archdiocese, offering strategies, resources and support for the pastoral needs of parishes and local faith communities; and focusing on the proclamation of the Gospel, faith formation and Christian living delivered with missionary energy.
The Animation Consultant for the Archdiocese of Melbourne focuses on supporting clergy and parish leaders in response to Pope Francis’s call for a "missionary option" (Evangelii Gaudium, §27). This position supports the animation of our Western Region Parishes (spreading geographically from West Melbourne’s inner-city suburbs to Geelong) as they implement initiatives, strategies, resources, and programs to foster Gospel fruitfulness and to form God’s people in discipleship, prayer and action.
