At the heart of the newly released Plenary Council agenda lies an invitation and exhortation to be a missionary, Christ-like people, says Plenary Council President Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB. The agenda poses 16 questions, grouped into six inter-related themes and challenges the members of the Plenary Council to develop “concrete proposals” in response to the questions.

Also in this week's round up of stories we visit St Michael's Parish in Geelong, where parish life during the pandemic has continued to flourish thanks to the collective efforts of Fr Peter Minh and parishioners across three churches. You'll also find a link to the liturgical resources that have been developed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sunday (4 July), as well as a timely video message from Archbishop Peter A Comensoli as Melbourne emerges from yet another lockdown.

Lastly, we encourage you to take up the invitation to explore Archbishop Comensoli's pastoral letter Take the Way of the Gospel through online workshops and prayer opportunities throughout the coming months.
