St Peter Apostles Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located within the grounds of St Peter Apostle’s Catholic Primary School. We have developed close ties with St Peter Apostle and the school community.

Our program supports working families by providing a safe environment before and after school that is designed to cater to their children’s age, skills, interests and abilities.

We are seeking a OSHC Program Coordinator that will oversee the OSHC program, supervise and develop staff. The Coordinator will accurately maintain the administrative and financial information systems and processes of the service in adherence to regulations and the National Quality Standards.

Key Requirements:

The OSHC Coordinator must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in childhood studies or other qualifications acceptable.
  • Experience in an Out of School Hours Care Program, teaching, or early learning setting.
  • Manage Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Management System (CCMS) administration in accordance with service policies and procedures and all relevant funding agreements.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and/or managerial experience in an outside school hours care service.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ACECQA regulations impacting on outside school hours care operations.
  • Demonstrated the ability to have effective time management skills.
  • Has the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • High level of communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships.
  • Detailed approach to documentation and administrative procedures.
  • Support and promote a warm, responsive and respectful relationship with and between educators and children with a strong sense of Catholic values.
  • Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Work, Excel, Outlook)
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate

  • Police Check (new check required)
