Kitchen Hand - Corpus Christi College

Corpus Christi College are seeking a kitchen hand to join their busy, well established kitchen team. Hours of work are approximately 10 hours per week with some flexibility on a casual rate.

About Corpus Christi College

Corpus Christi College is the regional seminary of the Catholic Church dioceses in Victoria and Tasmania. It is residential college, accommodating up to 60 students and trains men for the priesthood for the dioceses of Melbourne, Hobart, Ballarat, Sandhurst and Sale.

Key Responsibilities of the role

This role will be required to:

• Wash and disinfect the dishware, general utensils and kitchen equipment based on college procedures
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, food preparation areas and service areas, including removal of rubbish, based on industry and college standards
• Occasional help with basic food preparation.
• Setting the dining room for dinner service.
• Restock kitchen supplies and maintain equipment as needed.
• Check and store food ingredients on delivery.
• Other duties as required

About you:

• Previous experience in hospitality is advantageous
• WWCC & Police Check
