Integration Engineer, Catholic Development Fund

Seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to help build our integration services capability as we bring our Digital Strategy to life!

Using your expertise in assessing, designing and implementing integration patterns you will be responsible for the end to end management of integration services to help improve the customer experience when accessing online banking, making and receiving payments.

As a founding and key member of the new Integration Services Capability, you will be working closely with the Solution Architect, Technical SMEs, and business users in an Agile environment to solve problems across different parts of the business and for our clients.

You will be responsible for the Management, Configuration and Build, vendor relations, and ongoing support of all integrations. This role will predominately focus on Integration Services (including data transformation, data orchestration, service orchestration, and service governance). You will also be responsible for knowledge management and maintaining the document repository and integration specifications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Configuring and Building of Integration Processes.
  • Maintenance and Configuration of associated integration components that form part of the end-to-end integration solution.
  • Test Execution, and Testing Support of integration builds (System Integration Testing).
  • Release and Deployment of Integration Processes to Production.
  • Monitoring Integration Platform Health, Performance and Availability.
  • Liaise with iPaaS Platform Vendors for Platform Support and Maintenance.
  • Provide Integration Subject Matter Expertise and support to other capability and I.T resources.
  • Knowledge management and maintaining the document repository and integration specifications.

About you

  • Has the ability to configure and operate highly scalable, available, performant, and secure integration solutions.
  • Experience working with Application Programming Interfaces to collect from or inject data into software systems.
  • Knowledge of API Management and API Gateway Technologies.
  • Experience in integrating with core enterprise software applications, both on-prem and cloud.
  • Expertise in assessing, designing, and implementing integration patterns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent rapport building and customer negotiation skills.
  • Has demonstrated the ability to highlight strong documentation practices.
  • Experience using Mulesoft and/or Boomi integration Platform desirable but not essential

Other Desirable Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications (i.e., University Degree / TAFE Diploma) or relevant business/technical qualifications
  • Certification in Boomi (Developer)
  • 2 years+ experience working in a Financial Institution and Payments related service organisations.
  • Experience with varying collaboration tools and practices i.e., MS Teams, Office 365 and its suite of applications such as PowerPoint and SharePoint (highly regarded).
  • Experience working in a small team environment in multiple roles.
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification.
  • Previous experience in a Catholic Church organisation.
  • Can work in an Agile Delivery environment.
